Deleting old samples - HELP NEEDED

I installed a whole bunch of instruments I downloaded from some other sites. Sadly, they all sucked, so I deleted the instruments, using the WiFi interface. But when I try to delete the samples that the instruments were made from, they don't get deleted. They remain on the list. How do I delete these old samples?
