proper loop recording

Post by gizmoismogwai »

Hey there,

I was wondering if anyone had any tips for properly recording loops? Sometimes I'll try to record a melodic loop on top of an 8 beat drum loop and when i hit "finish" button, it adds an extra 4 beats to what I did resulting in some silence where I intended for there to be none. Is this just a flaw in the program? Or does anyone have any tips for how I can keep this from happening?

The trick in the current

The trick in the current version is to hit the finish a little early, it will keep recording until the end of the bar. Just today I fixed the software here to be more lenient and let you hit finish up to a beat late, rounding it down, instead of up. It will be in the next release.

I am so excited about the new release. Goodness on top of wonder! This is the app I use to demonstrate how smart I am for buying an iPod.
