Playing Chords as song base....

I am new to ThumbJam. It's wonderful, but even though I have thoroughly read the user manual and studied this forums all day, I cannot seem to figure out how to play chords.

I know that there are some very hard and heavy electric guitar chords, but that is not what I'm looking for.

I would like to play guitar chords (and piano, etc.) as a base for laying down tracks of songs, and I cannot seem to figure out how to strum chords in TJ.

Is there a way for me to attach my mixer to TJ and play my own actual guitar into TJ using TJ's sounds?

Or is there a way to strum guitar (including accoustic) chords in TJ using the TJ interface?

I have both iPad and iPhone.

THank you so much for any guidance you can offer to me

Julia

Chords are not TJ's strong

Chords are not TJ's strong suit. Yet. You'll have to manually use multiple fingers playing each note of the chord in order to do it. Or you can use one of many other chord playing apps that can send MIDI into TJ while it runs in the background, like Polychord, SoundPrism, etc.

Thank you, Jesse. I very much
