Is it possible to use the microphone input to trigger sounds, but separate the instrument from the mic sound output?
For example Microphone sound output on Left Channel and Instrument sound on Right?

Using ThumbJam alone that isn't possible right now, but you could probably do it using ThumbJam in conjunction with an app like AUM. Set up AUM to host ThumbJam so that you can pan the instrument output, then make another track with mic input and pan that. A similar thing could also be done using Audiobus 3 as well.
