Instrument mix volumes during live play

Hi All,

Though I have good control over the volume of each instrument in a looping recording (loop mix screen), I haven't found a good way to properly balance the volume of individual instruments when I play different instruments in a split screen. So for instance if I have Bass guitar set up on the left of 3 splits, and violin and flute in the other two, if the Bass is overpoweringly loud, I can't bring down the volume to allow the flute and violin to be at a loud enough volume to be heard over the base.

If I change the Volume/iPod volume, it affects all the instruments equally, so I can't adjust the individual balance of each instrument.

Anyone know if there's a way to do this?

Yes, in Edit->Controls at the top choose the fixed volume option and set the level appropriately there. Whichever is the currently active "selected" split should be reflected in the panel in Edit->Controls, then you can select another split to change that one.
