NO SOUND AFTER SWITCHING TO IPHONE 4S

I had been running Thumbjam 1.3.1 on an old iPhone 3G and just upgraded to an iPhone 4s. The app appears to have loaded properly except 1) No sound - the keys light up but the app is dead silent and 2) All the instruments are listed but when I go to download samples, NONE of them say INSTALLED. Same with the loops. I reinstalled Vintage Accordion as a test but no luck - still silent. Please help!
