Custom scales not saved

Post by atoori »

Hi Amazing App!!!

Not sure if this is considered a bug, however upon
creating a custom scale and saving the preset. The custom
scale is not loaded up, when restarting Thumbjam. I should point
out the custom scale includes quartertones. Two intervals are at -50 cents.

Also splits with two patches are not saved.

Thanks for your time.

Best regards,
Ash

Indeed, that was a bug (among several in the custom scales area) that is now fixed here.

Currently the patches involved in a split are not saved, as you have discovered, because there is currently only one kind of preset, which may be loaded by each half independently. It will be this way for a while, I think.

The update is not yet available, I am wrapping up the rest of the bugfixes now.

I'm not sure I understand your output scale lock question, when you play notes in TJ for Midi output that is already what you effectively have. And the Input Scale Lock option already exists for midi input from external hardware, where playing white keys plays the selected scale.

Right, the scale lock passthrough feature mentioned elsewhere on the forum.... makes sense now. That may not make the next bugfix release....
