-overdub on same loop
-if overdub can be implemented then feedback (fade) control of previous layer(s)
-if overdub and feedback can be implemented then ability to bypass loop while playing live. this way you can let the loop fade as you're playing live (less than a 100% feedback) but be able to go back and forth, adding to/ bypassing the loop
-or at least a fade setting so as to fade the loop while playing live
- not a looper feature, but: ability to record live audio on session record.

It sounds suspiciously like you want SooperLooper inside ThumbJam

It will probably be some time before overdub features make into TJ, due to some of the internal design choices that were made.

Recording live audio (for both loops or session) is a feature I'd like to bring in, but some performance issues with the combination of low-latency and duplex audio prevented me from including it yet. This feature was there in earlier development and it worked well, but iphoneos v3.x introduced some issues. Once I can work around them, I will gladly bring it back.
