That's great news, Jesse. I
That's great news, Jesse. I have the same experience as jj_1080: except for ThumbJam, there really is nothing else for iOS that sounds like strings. (The closest I've found is Yumi (bow) Synth, from the maker of Jasuto.)

Ampkit Link and iRig will
<t>Ampkit Link and iRig will both work, but there are three limitations: (1) they're mono; (2) the mic input rolls off low frequencies (in order to focus on the frequency spectrum of the human voice); (3) there's some noise. A better solution, if you have an iPad, is to get the Camera Connection Kit...

The ability to change volume
<t>The ability to change volume for the current instrument would be helpful, I think. <br/> <br/> This week, I imported a drum .wav that I generated in Funkbox and massaged in Filtatron. The level of that sound file may have been somewhat low, but in any case, the current instrument's value was noti...

One way to limit RAM usage
One way to limit RAM usage for the "autosave recorder" would be to have it record MIDI events instead of waveforms. It would be like saving a score instead of a performance. Another benefit: saved MIDI scripts could be imported into NanoStudio and revoiced with other instruments.

Even a very basic sequencer
Even a very basic sequencer would rapidly expand the kind of songs that are possible in TJ.
