Yes, chords are something

Yes, chords are something I've wanted for a long time. Another thing that I think would be popular is a landscape orientation. This would probably be more useful on the iPad than the iPhone.

What about new instruments

<t>What about new instruments made with samples from ThumbJam? I've used ThumbJam "naked," but I've also used it to make new instruments using Grain Science. The most successful of these is a combination of TJ's harp and violin samples: the attack is plucked, but the sustain is bowed, and the whole ...

Tuning sample introduces clicks

<t>Yesterday I downloaded a sample of the Moog Taurus from freesound.org. I soft-looped it in Hokusai, then pasted it into ThumbJam. The sample was labeled C2, but after I finished with the instrument, I noticed that it was out of tune. I could tune it up in the sample editor, but after I did, there...

Sharing two instruments, one sample set

<t>A few months ago I downloaded some unfiltered Monotron samples and made a Thumbjam instrument from it. Version 1 is just the raw saw wave, to run through a real Monotron filter. Version 2 is the same, but with the addition of a low pass filter on the x axis. I can download version 1 (titled "Mono...

Thanks, Jesse. I switched to Electric Guitar, turned down the instrument volume, and that solved the problem. (And if it helps to know, my silent sample really is just silence, "manufactured" in BeatMaker's chopshop with the silence tool.)

A couple of MIDI questions

<t>I have been experimenting with TJ as a controller for virtual CoreMIDI apps, including Arctic Synth, Sunrizer, and Addictive Synth. What larks! as Dickens might say.<br/> <br/> A couple of queries:<br/> <br/> 1. Would it be possible to add Mod Wheel to the list of parameters that can be assigned ...

Thank you, Jesse. I got Sunrizer XS to work on my iPod Touch 4G using the second method described here, setting the buffer to 512.

Four queries for 2.0

<t>Thank you, Jesse, for this app and for this update. This was the first music app I bought, in February, and it's still my favorite.<br/> <br/> Four queries:<br/> <br/> 1. Can this be made to control Sunrizer? I can make it work with NLog, but when I try using it to control Sunrizer, there's no so...

The list of new features is

<t>The list of new features is very, very exciting. I've been playing with Slide Control as a virtual MIDI controller for NLog, but TJ will be even better.<br/> <br/> A couple of questions:<br/> <br/> 1. Will there be some buttons for chords? That was talked about earlier, but I didn't see it mentio...
