The Oral Groove
<r>This is one of the Thumbjam pieces I'm happiest with.<br/> <br/> The track was done in one take on Thumbjam. It's two plucked basses, the millo kit, the grand piano, and a couple of custom instruments made from recordings I took of London's Underground. <br/> <br/> <URL url="http://soundcloud.com...

Woops, I realised I was setting the offset as bits and not milliseconds!
84736 samples / 44100 samples per seconds (sampling rate) = 1.92145125 ms of offset, which I was setting as bits and not ms... It's all syncing fine in my DAW now, the start_master_offset is bang on.

Dealing with timing offsets when importing loopsets into DAWs
<t>I have imported a loopset into my computer's DAW, but am having trouble setting each loop's relative timing offset. The loopsets' offsets will be automatically handled if imported into Ardour, but that isn't the case for other DAWs.<br/> <br/> As explained here "Quantize start" was set to off, an...

I am having trouble importing
<t>I am having trouble importing loops created on Thumbjam (with quantize start off) into Logic and Live. <br/> <br/> When I import the loops from a Thumbjam session into Live, Live invariably calculates the wrong average tempo, and horribly modifies the tempo of each sample. I have spent countless ...
