I have noticed that the notes displayed for my SXML scales are often wrong. The sound and output midi are fine, but the displayed notes are a bit unpredictable, where two notes will have the same name and and be a halfstep apart.

type 1 is preferred here. That should make downloading lots of loops much easier.

Less moaning from me, as happy moans would sound inappropriate.

I check the mantis site once a day and then spend the rest of the day moaning in despair as the last update was 6/30

that said, i tend to import a click track as well and that way I don't need to worry about what tempo tj thinks its working with

I think the tempo is derived from the audio file length, assuming that the number of bars is a power of two and the meter is 4/4

16 or 32 bars would work but not 30

It would be very useful to have an automatic "black key" compliment for any scale. I made a really hackey mockup of what I mean.
