The instruments only disappear when I import samples from my computer, and they sometimes rename themselves to a stream of numbers, eg"2010042_203827".

Created Instruments Disappearing.
The Instruments i make keep on disappearing or renaming themselves, however this is not a big issue. Otherwise the app is the best music app i've seen.

Convert loops to notation.
Thumb Jam is a great app for creating songs, you can be really creative and its easy to come up with ideas. I think it would be great if there was a feature to convert what you've created to tab or standard notation. I understand this will be hard if not impossible.
