Instrument Categories tab question

Is there any way to move downloaded instruments into the categories listed in the Category tab?
When downloaded they are all automatically put in the "Other" category tab.
Or maybe the possibility of adding new Categories?

I meant to update the downloadable instruments with categories but never got around to it. I will do it eventually but you'd need to delete and re-download to get them. Good idea about being able to add/set the categories for existing instruments, I'll put that on the list.

Also, Is the only way to rename existing instruments to save as a new instrument, change nothing but its name, and then delete the original?

There is a Rename Preset button when you hit Edit->Save Preset that lets you rename your currently loaded user preset (instrument).
