how to get music off ipads?

Hi - I've had students create their own soundtracks on ipads using thumbjam - having trouble getting them off - we want to integrate them with animated films they made using the Stop Motion app. Help appreciated.

The most flexible way if you are on a WiFi network is to use the Prefs->WiFi Transfer system. Once you enable it you then go the given URL from a web browser on your computer (from the same wifi network), and download the sessions or loops.
What were you trying that gave you trouble?
