Top Bottom Orientation for Mic'ing

Hi Jesse and everybody,
is it possible to turn the Iphone end for end so that the sound could be coming out of the top(hi-pitched end) of this very cool instrument?

p.s. I am a huge Sooperlooper supporter and user... and yes real time audio capture and looping would be way 'kid" Beyond!
